A Bit About Juliarna

Dedicated to Gritty Self Care

Yoga with Juliarna

Generally speaking... I love life.

I get a kick out of nature, watching people grow and the simple pleasure of being alive.

I have been practising yoga off and on since I was 7 years old and I still remember my first class.

Yoga to me is the thread that has held me together through thick and thin.

It has given me space for myself when I needed it and it has also enabled me to be surprisingly comfortable in my body as I cruise past 50. I am so grateful for that!

I spend a lot of time in nature and marvel at the sheer incredible miracle of life itself nearly everyday.

I teach yoga with a focus of self care and leading my students into self appreciation as well as resilience and self reliability.

It's not all about doing the easy stuff.

I am a Passionate inspirer, empower and Carer of Women's growth and connection and have been running regular outdoor and indoor yoga classes, Women's Retreats, Women's Circles and related workshops in The Gap for over 5 years through my local business. The focus is always around 'exploring and awakening the inner self to enable a life lived to the fullest".

I am influenced by Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Mindfulness applications and Brene Brown's Daring Greatly and Rising Strong work as well as Yogic philosophies around Vinyassa theories of 'living fully whilst moving with the rhythm of life'.

'Juliarna is a qualified practicing Yoga Instructor, and Rites Of Passage Facilitator. She is progressing her way through a Diploma of Counselling through AIPC and has completed training in Gestalt Therapy, Core Value Therapy, Brene Brown's "Rising Strong' programme, Yoga Instructor and SUP (Stand Up Paddle Board) Yoga Teacher Training.
