Chair Yoga Classes include a mix of Ancient Yoga poses, Qigong flow and breath activities and modern Core Strength activation - all mixed with overtones of Positive Psychology and Mindfulness techniques.
The class is similar to a regular Yoga class but with the inclusion of a chair to support people with mobility issues that may be inhibited from kneeling, getting up from the ground and moving around on the floor. There will be some standing poses however there will be the option to sit on or rest on the chair if the pose does not suit that individual.
The benefits of Yoga and Chair Yoga is boundless. It inspires more breath and therefore an increase of energy, it inspires a focus on the present moment and mindfulness and so lifts the mood and lowers stress and anxiety. It inspires stretching and strengthening and leaves you feeling great!
Classes can be done face to face however currently most attendees are preferring to stay in the comfort of their own home. If you are interested in coming along in person please get in touch.
Zoom Class option - as soon as you commit to the class you will receive an email and a link to the Zoom class for that class.
To prepare for the class I recommend setting up a space to do your class (hopefully outside) and then pointing your device toward you so that you can see the screen easily from your mat.... then go into your emails and accepting my invitation to join the meeting!
One off Casual Class cost is $20.
Become a dedicated regular and pay $18 per class.
Concession rate is $15.
Or by donation if in hard times.
Class packs available in 5s or 10s.
Option to pay by cash on the day but bookings are essential.
